Asia Footprint
ANZ has over 3,500 staff across 14 geographies in Asia, and our presence is larger than the Asian resources of the other Australian commercial banks combined. Since opening our first Asian office in 1969, we have established integrated solutions across institutional and corporate banking, financial markets, trade finance, corporate finance, retail banking, private banking and investment banking services.
ANZ prides itself on the longevity of its commitment to Asia and its deep understanding of each of the Asian countries in which it operates under the ANZ brand and with our partners.
Singapore
ANZ is a fully licensed local bank in Singapore, able to provide domestic and foreign currency lending, trade finance, foreign exchange, commodity and interest rate hedging products and personal banking services, including deposits and checking accounts. Additionally, through regional product support, ANZ is able to provide clients in the country with a full range of regional corporate and structured finance products.
ANZ commenced Singapore operations in 1974 and today employs more than 350 people.
Hong Kong
ANZ's presence in Hong Kong can be traced back to 1970 through its subsidiary ANZ Grindlays Bank Limited.
In Hong Kong ANZ offers commercial banking services and specialises in the provision of services to local and international companies involved in international trade and capital transactions.
Products and services include Domestic and foreign currency lending, commodity and trade finance, foreign exchange, commodity and interest rate hedging, private and personal banking services, including deposits. Through our regional product suite we also offer corporate and structured finance products.
